Polyvinyl Alcohol powder is especially suitable for construction putty powder additive, and the use of methyl cellulose ether water-retaining agent, can improve the flexibility of putty powder, water  adhesion, improve the adhesion of putty powder. In addition, friction can be reduced, thus increasing the efficiency and quality of the work. (Prevent cracking and shedding of plastering layer, increase adhesion strength and smoothness).

Solubility:

Polyvinyl alcohol powder (PVA) Types PVA-BAW05, PVA-BAW17and PVA-BAW24 are partially alcohol-soluble and soluble in water at room temperature. It is forbidden to use when the temperature drops below 0°C; when the temperature is lower than 10°C, sufficient dissolution time is required for dissolution, usually 5-10 minutes.

Solution stability:

Low-viscosity polyvinyl alcohol aqueous solution is stable at room temperature and does not deteriorate during storage.

Film-forming properties:

Due to the high adhesion strength between polyvinyl alcohol molecules, polyvinyl alcohol is easy to form a film, the surface is colorless, transparent and smooth, with high mechanical strength and good solvent resistance.

 

Application field

1, Polyvinyl alcohol can be used in various wall putty, dry-mixed mortar, gypsum products, tile adhesives. It can effectively improve the adhesion of cement, lime calcium powder and gypsum. It increases flow, slows surface drying time and prevents product surfaces from cracking. It is suitable for wall/ceiling finishes and tile paste.

2, Adding 1-2KG of polyvinyl alcohol with a fineness of more than 300 mesh in the production process of latex paint can effectively improve the smoothness of the product, improve the film-forming property, and reduce the amount of emulsion by 5-10KG.

3,In the thermal insulation mortar system, the effect of 1kg polyvinyl alcohol (160 mesh) is similar to that of 4-5KG latex powder. In practical application, the latex powder is mixed with polyvinyl alcohol, and the effect is better.
