Hydroxypropyl MethyCellulose (HPMC)

Hydroxypropyl MethyCellulose (HPMC)

Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose Ether (HPMC), is a natural multifunctional carbohydrate polymer, white or similar to white fiber or granular powder. It has two components: hydroxypropyl group and methoxy subgrade group. Each of annulus fibrosis are three hydroxyls.

Application

It can be used as dispersing agent or stabilizer for suspension polymerization in PVC, which can improve key factors of suspension polymers like average particle size, particle size distribution, particle form and inner structure. It is a main auxiliary for preparation of PVC by suspension polymerization. It’s also wideld used as thickener, adhesive, water preserving agent, film-forming agent in construction, building materials, dispersion coating, wallpaper paste, polymerization aids, leathers, printing ink and paper making etc. also used in petroleum drilling and daily-use chemicals.
