Advantage
Extended Working Time: With a retarder, workers have more time to apply and finish the plaster before it begins to set. This is particularly useful for intricate designs or complex surfaces.
Reduced Waste: Since the plaster remains usable for a longer period, there is less likelihood of material going to waste due to premature setting.
Improved Finish: The extended setting time allows for better smoothing and finishing of the plaster, resulting in a smoother and more even surface.
Less Stressful Application: Slower setting times can reduce the pressure on workers to apply the plaster quickly, leading to higher quality results.
