A Preparation Method For PVA Based On Carboxyl Group Modification

There’s a production method for PVA based on carboxyl group modification as following steps:
S1: Mix vinyl acetate with the second copolymer and add solvent to get the raw material mixture
S2: The initial polymerization reaction is carried out in the first polymerization kettle
S3: The third copolymer and initiator are gradually added to the second, third and fourth polymerization kettle to continue the polymerization reaction
S4: In the fourth polymerization kettle, the crosslinking agent is added to make the polymer form a cross-linked polymer
S5: Plasticizing process
S6: Adding alcohololysis agent for alcoholysis reaction
S7: Remove impurities and unreacted monomers, dry treatment to obtain carboxyl modified polyvinyl alcohol powder
This method, by using continuous polymerization technology and optimized post-treatment process, significantly improves production efficiency, enhances product performance and environmental friendliness, and meets the needs of modern industry for high-performance materials.
