Sinopec SVW Factory’s 50,000 tons/year special grade of PVA (polyvinyl alcohol) resin project started, after the completion of the company’s PVA production capacity will be increased from 160,000 tons/year to 210,000 tons/year, special PVA production capacity reached the first domestic, the world’s leading level.
PVA is one of the very few vinyl polymers with both water-soluble and biodegradable properties, between plastic and rubber, and is widely used in medicine, paper, textile, construction, food, polymerization additives and other fields. Special PVA is a special treatment process based on ordinary PVA to make it have special performance or better performance than ordinary PVA.
PVA is one of Joyforce’s core products, and we have deep cooperation with Sinopec SVW Factory, which will greatly improve our advantages. This project will consolidate and expand Sinopec’s traditional advantages of production capacity, promote the creation of a single champion of special PVA, strengthen and expand new fine chemical materials, fill the gap in the high-end market, and provide high-quality raw materials for the development of other functional new materials.
